Title : Remember me?
Author : Sophie Kinsella
I did not read the Shopaholic series but this book is a good first start that might trigger me to be Sophie's fan.
I love how the book progressed as it talks about Lexi Smart as a snaggletooth who didn't get a bonus. The turning point came when she fell and woke up in three years later, 2007!
The best part is, she had been living a fairy tale life for the past three years with a high positioned job, a huge house and a gorgeous husband Eric. Now she forgets everything!
Slowly, the story reveals her life as a bitch boss who had ditched her friends. Her sister had grown into an awful teenager. To make matters worse, someone else is after her job. How is Lexi suppose to save her own life when she don't even remember how to run it?
Then, Jon, her husband's architect friend appeared with a startling news, something that spun her out of control.
I find it hilarious and amusing the way Lexi walked around confused trying to get her life back together again. Very original and relate able as Lexi walks around, living every woman's dream.
The down side, I found the ending rushed as though Sophie had run out of pages. Not quite what I conclude an ending.
